Get Rich ‘Quick’ With Joy Rides

Business Idea: Joy Rides
Description: Charge people for a thrill ride in your luxury sports car
Start-Up Cost: $40k - $350k
Potential Income: up to $300k per year or more
If this idea doesn’t get the adrenaline pumping through your veins than you need to check your pulse! This is great, imagine having the time of your life in a business that revolves around owning the car of your dreams! It doesn’t get any better than this. Here’s how it works:
Go buy a sports car:
The awesome thing about this business idea is that you don’t have to lease a building or buy a ton of merchandise to sell. You just need to pay off your dream car and make sure the maintenance is up to date. Simple.
You get to have the pleasure of literally test driving your business. Test drive some sports cars that you like, but keep in mind what the most popular vehicles are so that people will be falling at your feet begging to pay you for a ride.
You can get a ‘99 Dodge Viper like the picture above for around $40,000 or you could take the plunge and go for the used 2007 Ferrari F430 Spider for around $315,000. Eventually, when your business is a success you can afford more vehicles (or more expensive ones) so that you can double or triple your profits.
You don’t have to limit yourself to a sports car either. For example, people love Hummers and would jump at the chance to venture off-road for an extreme ride. And the good thing about a luxury SUV is that you can charge more people for a ride at one time; whereas, with the sports car there may only be room for one customer.
How to set up shop and how much to charge:
To get a lot of business you need a venue with quite a few people. You want a steady flow of customers so that when you get back from one joy ride you will have others waiting. Find a setting with a lot of tourists or an area where entertainment is foremost. I would recommend asking your local mall or outlet for permission to set up a sign near a busy entrance that explains your ‘Joy Ride’ business and for a place to load and unload customers before and after a ride. You should be prepared to pay lease for any space that you plan to use.
You can charge people as much as $15 or as little as $5 per ride depending on how long you want your rides to last. Charge customers $5 for a five minute ride or ten minutes for $10. It really all depends on you and how many people are chomping at the bit for a ride.
The real joy is the pay check:
So, think about how much money you can make from this. If you charge $10 for a ten minute ride and can get in six joy rides in an hour, that’s $60 an hour or almost $500 in an eight hour day. If you keep that up for six days a week you have the potential of earning $11,500 dollars each month while owning and maintaining the car of your dreams!
$138,000 dollars for the first year in business, not bad at all. So why am I telling you this idea and not doing it myself? I’m not really sure to tell you the truth, but I’ll race you for it!
